TVS XL was the second most successful moped in the history of Indian Automobiles, after the legendary 'Luna' by Kinetic engineering which started the moped scenario in the year 1972. 


TVS launched its first moped 'XL' in the year 1980, with a 50cc 2-stroke engine and still ruling the moped segment for the past 40 long years. As soon as it hit the market, it took the entire 2-wheeler industry by storm as people got to see something new in the moped segment after a long period of time, while Luna was still rolling well.
